No, Upscope does not take up bandwidth and slow things down because only a one-request connection is kept open, and no data is sent through it unless someone is actively watching. Even then, we don’t transmit a video stream but only page content in text format which takes minimal bandwidth
Upscope only passes data during an active connection and even then it takes minimal bandwidth because it's not streaming.
